Baloney. Modern spec ops have a james bond complex. It was never going to remain secret. And the crash later was not a targeted assassination. It was the abysmally ridiculous tactics of our senior officers. They send out a weak patrol, with idiotic rules of engagement that forbid them to use any supporting arms a unit normally would. Then when they get into contact, the “plan” is to send in a CH47 flying clown car, stuffed with seals who are notoriously bad when working at the platoon level.

It’s ridiculous to think that some towel head on the ground with his RPG had any idea who is in the helicopter. Or that the entire Ambush was some Byzantine trap to kill those specific seals.

Last but not least, if it was supposed to be so Secret, how’s about the guy mentioned in the beginning of the article calling his dad on the phone, and saying we got him! Turn on the TV! This article is really a little bit childish.

Biden needs to get nowhere near the White House. But it’s because he’s a moron in general, and because of the idiotic Rules of Engagement he enthusiastically supported, and because of his support for Obamacare, and his corrupt entanglements with ukrainians.
But not because he said Navy Seals got bin Laden.

It’s silly to pretend like something of that magnitude was ever going to be a shrug and our leaders going somebody killed Bin Laden, it will never say what unit.

Besides it’s a standing joke in the spec ops community that if seals are involved, the final paragraph of the mission order discusses book and movie rights.

I could be wrong but I think that the Chinook going into that valley should have had attack Helo protection as SOP.
