Trump haters on Twitter went into an absolute meltdown after POTUS’s CPAC speech. I can’t recall laughing so much, as I read their deranged rantings. This writer, who is a never Trumper, did manage to write a rather interesting take on the speech. His remarks at the end that Pres. Trump knows nothing about economics made me laugh out loud.
Wonder how the Sunday talk show hosts will spin it?

It's way too early to be thinking this, much less saying it, but what the hell: If Donald Trump is able to deliver the sort of performance he gave today at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the annual meeting of right-wingers held near Washington, D.C., his reelection is a foregone conclusion. There is simply no potential candidate in the Democratic Party who wouldn't be absolutely blown off the stage by him. I say this as someone who is neither a Trump fanboy nor a Never Trumper. But he was not simply good, he was Prince-at-the-Super-Bowl great, deftly flinging juvenile taunts at everyone who has ever crossed him, tossing red meat to the Republican faithful, and going sotto voce serious to talk about justice being done for working-class Americans screwed over by global corporations.
One of the funniest comments I read was comparing POTUS to Don Rickles!
Trump spoke for 2 hours at C-pac. He attacked fake news, made jokes, and talked about the Dem. Socialist movement. He poked fun of the Green Deal and not being able to fly airplanes if it is implemented. He also said building would have to be teared down if the Socialist/ Green Deal movement is implemented. The President was in a fun mood and the audience cheered him on.
