Friday on “CBS This Morning,” former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe questioned the conclusions drawn by last year’s inspector general report, which recommended McCabe be investigated criminally for lying to investigators about leaks pertaining to the finances of the Clinton Foundation. He dismissed that aspect of the IG report and implored Americans to look at his “unblemished record” prior to attacks from President Donald Trump. He also called into question Trump’s future.

Or McCabe is just trying to deflect attention away from the IG report and his own firing, and is trying to extend his own 15 minutes of fame and position as a resistance hero.
Sounds to me like McCabe just made a threat to assassinate the President.
The problem with McCabe and his ilk is that they only know what they know.
They hear only what they want to hear and do not pay attention to the rest of the country.
A lot of people like President Trump and approve of his admin.

Our “new AG,” Barr needs to “belly up to the Bar” and start prosecuting this turd and the dozens of his compatriots in the DOJ and FBI. And if he’s not a kick a$$ and take names AG, we need to make it very clear to Trump that he’s unacceptable. Personally, I’d have gone with Tom Fitton, but I’m guessing that the RINOs wouldn’t have approved him.

Because, whether McCabe believes it or not, is is EXTREMELY difficult to dislodge a sitting President, unless he is convinced he should go, as Nixon was in 1974, by a negative publicity so aggressively asserted that he could get NO traction with the American public.
Trump has the ear and largely undivided attention of much more of the public than Nixon was left with, and for good reason - Trump comes across with NO compromises that would erode his position on any aspect of his service in the White House.
The only way out of the Oval Office before the end of the elected term is by the demise or substantial incapacity of the President to discharge the duties of his office. He may be voted out, but that does require the machinery of an election, and nothing is in place to do that before November 2020.
So, is McCabe suggesting that the demise or substantial incapacity of President Trump can be “arranged”?
