Yeah, they put him in the hospital, all right, but I read somewhere that he was in hideous condition. A comatose patient requires excellent care in order to keep from, frankly, rotting. Must be turned, cleaned, and repositioned every 2hours, to help prevent bed sores, and even at that, without ridiculously expensive special mattresses, they’re likely to get bed sores, anyway. As a retired nurse, I can tell you, a bed side can quickly rot the flesh right down to the bone, in a very short time.
Hate saying this, but I think that he was in such poor condition that he was euthanized in some way. He returned to the States and was dead within, what, 5 days or less? Maybe they helped him to pass away through the withholding of water, or maybe through the administration of morphine? Otherwise, how did he live such a long time comatose in a third world h#ll hole but die soon after arriving here where we have the best medicine has to offer?
The American doctor who went to NK and brought Otto home changed his diaper on plane) said his body was in good shape. He said he would have fudged medical records to NK just to get him out but didn’t have to. He had no bed sores. The dated brain scans showed this happened day after the trial.
