If Trudeau played Hockey, he would be the front runner for the Lady Byng trophy.

Trump is starting to seem like a lock to outlast all these Euro/Canadian Wiggles, who were all supposed to be such superior statesmen, and were all laughing at the big dumb American.

Wish my cousin, who was a member of Parliament in the now defunct ultra conservative Christian party, was still in office.

Just to sum up some of the issues here:
1. Hiding the bill to allow ‘deferred prosecution’ in an omnibus bill (something they said they wouldn’t do), specifically targeted towards this prosecution, and passing it, AFTER criminal prosecution of SNC Lavalin had already started.
2. High level cabinet ministers and PMO staff taking lobbying meetings with SNC Lavalin lobbyists while the criminal investigation and prosecution of SNC Lavalin was ongoing.
3. Last, but not least, Trudeau (and his office) pressuring the justice minister/AG to drop the case, largely out of a concern for possible lost votes in Quebec.
