indoctrination is important at an early age, though probably more important in high school and college.

Maine: transforming educational centers for kids into political indoctrination centers for stupid, stoned out, drooling, uneducated Democrat rubber-stampers and street-agitation thugs.

A better bill would strip 100% of the school funding, distribute it evenly to all parents, and let the parents decide how to best educate their children.

Public school is child abuse. Especially for white children.

So, this white fragility is a problem

It is no where near as great as the colored plague intent on destroying the republic.

One of many foundations that are being targeted and infected. We can now see the results in the open. The rats and their scumedia counterparts support and encourage their fledglings

Maine is the last state in which I would enroll a child in public school.

" The bill prohibits indoctrination in our nation’s public schools and prohibits teachers from engaging in political, ideological, or religious advocacy in the classroom."

THIS was a long time in coming..
It's going to make the commies squeal like the pigs they are..!

This bill would require all teachers to resemble NPCs. But what it really would do would be to give districts cover when selectively persecuting individual teachers with whom they have issues. This is very broad, all pervasive, invasive.

“An educators’ right to constitutional protections do not end when s/he walks into a school or classroom,” states Drewette-Card’s testimony.”

An ‘educator’, eh? Way to add conditions to those Rights; they’d be the 1st to cry re: 2nd A.

IMO, sorry, but YEARS too late. The damage has already been done. Indoctrination was known (in your face) in the 60’s, the (R)N(C) didn’t do SQUAT then, and less so w/ the Federalization via DoEd. (is its termination still on the platform??)

Good article. I had no idea this was going on.

Our new Governor (FL), Ron DeSantis, tossed out common core and has asked for suggestions on what to do to replace it. I’m going to contact my state reps and forward this. Along with phonics, multiplication tables, and long division lol.

(any other ideas???)

Most of Maine’s public schools are very good. The facilities are usually under funded and the teachers not paid very in most small towns and villages but the quality of education there is watched closely by the local population. Where you run into problems is in the bigger cities with a super liberal population.

This bill needs to be copied in every state of the Union.

There should be a federal version of this bill.

And who the heck is going to enforce this? An administrator in every classroom 9-4...that’s the solution.....cameras? Why not?

As it is, you can’t get admin to come out of their offices/ivory towers, as it is, to do their jobs.

PFFT!

Freepers, remember!

Nearly every teacher in this nation was trained by communists!

This is true for both government and private schools. Even in private schools this communist training will leak out into the classroom.

The average teacher only earned $1000 a month in 2009?

My Mom’s first teaching job was in the one-room school house in Greenbush, Maine. She had just graduated from Farmington Teachers College at age 18!
