Ya can’t monkey around with the U.S. mail like that. If you’re going to commit fraud, and other crimes, it’s best to leave the mail out your scheme.

I wouldn’t necessarily equate the Chicago field office of the FBI with the Democrat Activist Lawyers that run the DC Headquarters.

If the local Postal Inspector decides there are threats within the letter, the FBI is automatically called in.
A close relative of mine had some sicko sending out letters to random people about her stating some pretty outlandish things. The Post Office handled it along with local P.D. as there were no threats involved. Had their been a threat to her, the Fed’s would have gotten involved. It is because the sender is using a federal resource.
