Lott may be correct here. With the majority that have thrown their hat in the ring, they are decidedly more progressive/left. (Harris, Bernie, Warren) If the party shifts further to the left, a Centrist has a good chance of gaining the nomination. In addition to Biden, that could be Klobuchar too. Being from Michigan, it gives her an advantage in the general that others lack.

I know people like Harris, but CA doesn't get the Dems anything they don't already have.

I think so too. Trump took several rust-belt states by razor-thin margins. Trump won there because Joe Six-Pack went GOP. But here’s the thing. The older Joe Six-Pack guys love Biden. They just do.

Biden is the one that would worry me. He’d be tough in the extra states Trump won, MI PA WI..tough in FL & OH...He wouldnt be dumb enough to sign on with the wacko socialists. he’s glib and snarky in a way that would trigger Trump. I just see that as the worst matchup.

Then again everyone said the same about Kerry in ‘04. And I’m not sure Creepy Joe can get the nod, he isnt far left enough, though with the wackos splitting that vote he may just slide in. In the end though I firmly believe Trump winning was due to a Divine plan, and if he wins again it will be the same.
