Ford warns no-deal Brexit would be ‘catastrophic’

“We have a Civic 5 door in the US as well:”
I prefer the 306HP version:

The article linked to now by the thread seems completely different to the original that I read. Perhaps the beeb have re-written it in the interim (they change stuff all the time). They used to put a date-and-time stamp on every version so this was clear but it appears now they only show an original date.
I stand by my comment. No one doubts that the uncertainy around Brexit doesn’t help companies plan for next year, my quote from their original article showed a deliberate effort to make a connection between Brexit and the Honda closure.
it’s not a lie - note it talks about “continued uncertainty” — Brexit terms are not confirmed yet. Business hates uncertainty, it’s worse than any other option.
CAr manufacturing is increasing NOT labor intensive. more and more automation are reducing the number of people needed. japan’s demographics wasn’t a factor here, but more important is the tariff component — by locating a factory within the EU zone they did not have to pay tariffs. The same reason why they shifted a lot of manufaturing to the US under Reagan.
Electric cars don't make much sense in the US outside the Eastern corridor -- for now, imho
That's why I am PRO-HARD-Brexit
Come on UK, you can do it - a complete NO-DEAL Brexit.
More business and money for me :)

Poland is in the sweet spot.
Germany I think will lose 100,000 jobs.
But there seems to be lots of other work.
