Nice try but the bill forbids a wall and mandates a fence with pedestrian walkways and it allows Rat mayors to block installing said fence in their jurisdiction.
It’s a spending bill (does not supercede ANY laws so NO amnesty) and it expires Sept. 30 - ALL provisions. Trump won’t be using the money in this CR in the next 6 months so any ‘wall’ restrictions, talking to mayors, etc. will be out the window.

it only forbids the specific under allocated in this bill to be used for those purposes. Trump can use the these funds in other ways and divert OTHER funds to the wall.

Let the mayors block what they will and then deal with the illegal carnage they’ll be faced with....as for Pedestrian walkways...those have always been a part of the border for workers as much as those who come thru legally. But the added technology and manpower will control that.
and then there’s the Presidential signing statement, which says, in several ways within the statement,
” I will treat these, and similar provisions, consistent with the President’s constitutional authority as Commander in Chief.”
