Imagine this crap during WWII?
I wonder if President Trump could instruct the Department of Justice to in effect Aid people suing the federal and state governments. It seems that the state or local government should be liable for damages if the criminal Invader was released from custody when it was known they were here illegaly. I would think that both the federal and state governments would share in liability. If it was the state government refusing to abide by federal statutes, they should bear 99% of the damages. United States federal government could acknowledge a small portion of the damages. The DOJ attorneys could then assist the family’s legal team in establishing that the state or local officials did wilfully and intentionally ignore the requirement of turning the detainee over to the federal government for the deportation process.
