Sure, not that it will convince those who automatically think Trump is an idiot every time he does something they don’t understand.
Now he and Congress are partners in wall-building. They’ve agreed with the principle but haven’t allocated enough money, so he’ll take what they have authorized and get more to go with it. No more “vanity project” because Congress would never fund that would they?
He’s shifted the debate from “walls are immoral” to ways and means to pay for them, and how quickly they can be built.
I can only explain, I can’t make people understand. But I can point to years of failure in getting the conservative agenda enacted and at how much Trump has done and will do, and say that the perfect is the enemy of the good. In the end all that matters is results, and Trump will get them.
I get what you’re saying and don’t get me wrong, I’m for Trump and what he’s been able to accomplish thus far. However, the immigration legislation impact, from what I’ve read and researched, has put the US in a far worse position than where we were.
The wall/barrier is a big concern, but the bills wording, in many aspects, has made that effort pretty much futile. Unless Trump has a magic trick up his sleeve, the we’ve just witnessed our immigration situation blow up in our face.
I can only explain, I cant make people understand.

People forget there are three branches of the government.
Trump is only one part and each has their own functions.
Well said and right on point!
