This is the first time I agree w/Cuomo. He’s right, the loss of jobs/tax revenue/ancillary revenue for nearby business is a big loss for N.Y. Does Ocasio have a degree in Economics? Maybe her Econ. class focused on soviet style economies?

New York would give more than it gets. I live in Buffalo, I get taxed, I don't get benefits. I am 300 miles away. And while all this happens, businesses that have been getting violated by the state for decades, get nothing. I agree with neither Cuomo nor AOC, but this development pleases me no end. Also means Cuomo can kiss his presidential aspirations GOODBYE.

All involved in this debacle seem shocked that Amazon is withdrawing altogether; none seemed to think that was a possible outcome. They are putting a brave face on it, but they are shocked.
