Hmm, maybe the plan is to place solar panel ‘shelters’ over all the camping homeless throughout Los Angeles, thus giving them shade from the hot sun and providing critical energy to the city!

(Of course, it’ll suck on cloudy days, and odds are that they’ll get disassembled by the homeless as they grab all that copper wire to sell to the recycler as well as running around town with shopping carts full of solar panels...)

Oh, Bakersfield? There’s a golden opportunity to build a few big gas powered plants to sell overpriced energy to idiots in Los Angeles - it’ll be great until the next earthquake or forest fire takes out the power lines...

It may suck at night too. City people can’t live without illumination. Around here I look around in wonderment at the leftist “green energy climate change” flatlanders that vacation here and the first thing they do is put on every light in the house and all the yard lights all night long. Every tourist house looks like a UFO coming in for a landing. I live nearly a half mile out in the woods and rarely have outside lights on, and maybe one or two inside lights.
