Enrique Tarrio, who is the Chairman of the Proud Boys fraternal organization, had his personal Chase bank account shut down abruptly earlier this week.
In a letter obtained exclusively by Big League Politics, the bank informs him that he must shut down all of his accounts by April 1st, 2019, without giving a reason.
This comes just days after Chase Bank’s payment processor, Chase Paymentech, de-platformed him on a website he runs that allows groups and charities to sell merchandise, and raise money for causes. The website, 1776.shop, is most known for selling the famous “Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong” shirts which Stone was spotted in during the late-night arrest at his home.
Tarrio has been facing months of backlash for his affiliation with the Proud Boys, first getting onto the radar in an article published on The Daily Beast, which asserts that people of color are joining white supremacist organizations. Tarrio is both Cuban, and black, and was profiled in that article.

“The Proud Boys say they have an initiation process that has four stages and includes hazing. The first stage is a loyalty oath, on the order of “I’m a proud Western chauvinist, I refuse to apologize for creating the modern world”; the second is getting punched until the person recites pop culture trivia, such as the names of five breakfast cereals; the third is getting a tattoo and agreeing to not masturbate; and the fourth is getting into a major fight “for the cause.”
Looks too ‘Hollywood’ for me, sounds like something created for an episode of Law and Order where ‘Proud boys’ go around and terrorize minorities

Close enough, though. When I first heard it, I thought it was some kind of a “gay” group since such are inclined to often using “pride” as a defense mechanism in an attempt to assuage their guilt.

The Proud Boys is a far-right neo-fascist organization that admits only men as members and promotes political violence. The group takes its name from the song “Proud of Your Boy”, written for the Disney film Aladdin. The group was started in 2016 by Vice Media co-founder and former commentator Gavin McInnes. Proud Boys emerged as part of the alt-right, but in early 2017, McInnes began distancing himself from the alt-right, saying the alt-right’s focus is race while his focus is what he defines as “Western values”. This re-branding effort intensified after the Unite the Right Rally.
The group sees men – especially white men – and Western culture as under siege; their views have elements of white genocide conspiracy theory. While the group claims it does not support white supremacist views, its members often participate in racist rallies, events, and organizations. The organization glorifies violence, and members engage in violence at events it attends; the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has called it an “alt-right fight club”.
The Proud Boys have a presence in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Best choice, a local bank. There are still plenty of them around and you can find a good one with a little due diligence. If you need money, the various reputable on line lenders offer better terms than the banks can do. As for national banks, avoid Chase and Wells Fargo like the plague. USAA works pretty well. The problem with the big national banks is that you aren’t their customer in their mind, you are just a chump. Their customers are the big boys.

That’s not the point here, at least as I see it. If he’s being 86ed for no good reason, he should not have to be chased from bank to bank in hopes of finding one that isn’t run by PC-driven prejudice.

Gavin McInnes should’ve stuck with ‘Loyal Order of Water Buffalo.’ Much better than Proud Boys.

Name ONE leftist group that’s been banned by any bank or business.
If he can’t get another bank he won’t have a house or apartment to worry about getting gas for.

Two points - first, do you think any business/agency will come right out and say that?
(with the exception of a dive bar or two that have?)
Second, he’s somewhat of a prominent person - in the news (i.e. Dem controlled media) - he’s got a target on his back. An average Trump voter who minds his own business and doesn’t speak up about anything at all provides no such target.
