A nation of 330M does not *need* more people. I’d rather see more per capita economic growth than aggregate national economic growth.

Agreed there are a lot of suckers, some on the right. who buy into this "we have to grow population to grow the economy" lie. If immigration allows the dems to get a monopoly on power they will destroy the economy anyway, it won't matter how many people are here.
In 1980 there were 226 million people in the United States. There are now 330 million people. The number of non-Hispanic Caucasian people has not increased during that time period. We need a ban on immigration for at least a generation (meaning 25-30 years) to let the newcomers assimilate. There is no question that the character of the country has already been irreversibly altered. The new comers typically have little if any understanding of our way of life and the responsibilities of our political system. They want to turn the USA into Russia, Mexico, Guatemala, Somalia, Cuba, and all the other sh@th@le countries that they have come from. And with the help of this country’s liberal idiots they have been succeeding.
