That means it will take 200 5-year plans to get the job done.

At least - and she will insist on using all union labor which really complicates things - might take a billion years.

“...all union labor which really complicates things - might take a billion years.”

I had a long-term contract at a Federal site (all union) and I was there off and on a lot. One of the restrooms in a worker’s area had a sink in a cardboard box one time. The next time I was out there a few weeks later the box was opened. A few weeks later the box was in the corner and the sink with parts was laying near the broken sink.

I mentioned to my Federal client (non-union) “Hey - I’m no plumber, but I bet you $50 I could install that sink by the end of the day!” He just shook his head in disgust.

He said he was at one job meeting, and the Foreman was pleading with his guys (can’t yell - that would be harassment) “Please you guys. Give me four solid hours of work every day (10-hour days, Fridays off) and we can get back on schedule within a month. Please!!!”
