Don’t see how Ralphie can weather this. Not with all of the big guns against him. Of course they came out against him before the Fairfax allegations resurfaced. Will be interesting to see them walk this back.
With Herring “available”, I figured Ralphie would quit when the check cleared, if you know what I mean.
Now that Herring has committed the same blacface ‘sin’ Northam is accused of & I think Fairfax is untenable, the Dems don’t have much choice but to hang on to Northam.
There was nothing in it for Northam to resign originally & I think he realized that, thus is ‘moonwalking’ his Friday apology back on Saturday. The Dems would have had to make it worth his while (but now circumstances have changed) .... more on why he wouldn’t resign - good analysis, IMO:
