Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer on Wednesday attacked President Trump’s State of the Union address, calling it “political, divisive, calculating, even nasty at times.”
Mr. Schumer, who was in a tiff with the president hours before the address to Congress and the nation, said the speech was “sort of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” with most of the emphasis on the “Mr. Hyde” elements.
“The president was political, divisive, calculating, even nasty at times,” the New York Democrat said on CNN’s “New Day.” “You can’t talk comity and working together and give a speech that is just so divisive. That just doesn’t fly.”
The top Senate Democrat accused Mr. Trump’s speech of having no substance on areas of real bipartisanship such as infrastructure and drug prices. He stressed that Democrats would be willing to work on these legislative issues if the president could put forward proposals they could take seriously.

Schumer forgets that he is in the minority and irrelevant. They don’t need his help on anything.
What could Trump possibly say that this man would agree with?

What, exactly, was divisive?
* we don’t murder babies
* we will have a strong defense
* the economy is robust
* we will not be socialist
* we will shut the border to human traffickers, drugs, and illegals entering the country
They never give specifics. It’s like “Trump lies” or “Trump is a racist.”
Lies, racist, and divisive are the Democrat favorite words.

It means our beloved President HIT IT OUTTA DA PARK!!!
The problem is, that on the issues like drug prices and stuff that he says he’d work with Trump if Trump could put a serious proposal together — you can’t put a serious proposal together, because the ideas are stupid, and can’t be implemented.
This schumer dweep is a malignancy on civil society.

Schumer and other Dems had better start reconsidering their total obstructionist approach.
They seem unaware of the fact 76% of people polled agree with POTUS on his SOTU address.

To me, one U. S. citizen who was victimized by an illegal alien is one too many. How many are enough for you, Mr. Schumer? Do only Republicans have a moral obligation to protect American citizens from illegal aliens?
Please, Mr. Schumer, Democrat, spell out exactly how President Trump was political, divisive, calculating, and even nasty at times.
