I thought Kermit Gosnell was in prison. Did Nasty Nan give him a special leave so he could attend the SOTU? Was this planned during the shutdown so that when the shutdown ended, the sufficient security could be provided?

Increasingly over the past thirty years, EVERYONE on both sides of the aisle has been turning the state of the union speaches into nothing but a political circus of tit for tat political posturing using civilian props.
Maybe tbe next POTUS will reinstate Jefferson’s tradition of delivering his state of the union message to Congress only in a written form, not a speech.
Jefferson’s tradition remained in place until the uber-Progressive Woodrow Wilson.
