To: Fishtalk

Fishtalk, one can get salivary gland stones which are purportedly quite painful. My husband just had to have one cut out of his cheek, luckily, it was found during a dental check-up and never caused him discomfort until, of course, it was cut out.

Thanks for the info. I will be going to that Eye, Ear....etc doc as recommended.

Vertigo.

I once had a vertigo attack some five years ago, first one I ever had in my life. Began when I was brushing my teeth. Scared me so much I called my regular doc the day it happened. I wasn’t taking blood thinners at that time. I remember as my husband was still alive so it was before 2013. That doc told me same thing. I will be fine. Sit down so you don’t fall. Yada, yada.

Anyway, kind of glad I can eat asparagus although I will go lightly until I’m sure it won’t kill me.
