One problem is that doctors don’t usually order Vitamin D 3 hydroxy in your lab workup unless you ask for it. I did that about a year ago and found I very deficient in D 3 hydroxy. I always take it now. That and B 12 and Biotin for skin and hair. Seems to be working well.
In honor of this thread, I just took another D3 and threw in a biotin for good measure. That’s on top of my normal daily vitamins.
Doctors knowledge of Vitamins/Minerals role in the human body is terrible lacking. Unless they are Natural Paths. A Nutritionist is even DUMBER.
