Neither of the deceased had gunshot residue. No firearms were listed in the evidence. It didn't happen.
... police officers in general have a right to defend themselves. You apparently want to strop that right away.

Neither of the deceased had gunshot residue. Five of the officers were shot. And, it wasn't friendly fire or that would have been reported.
