Now, the question is, will they attack Schultz with the same vile venom and vitriol that they let loose of President, then candidate, Trump?....................................

Go line up a hundred working-class Americans....in rural areas, who used to vote Democrat. Half of them aren’t that enthusiastic over the direction of the party. A fair number of them believe that Bernie and socialism just don’t work with the capitalist system of the US. Warren? The fake talk just doesn’t work. There’s frustrations at work with this group of voters.

Schultz? He’s a blend of 1980s style Democratic ideals...before all of this identity fakeness took over the party. If you weren’t happy with the party, he’s the guy who presents a better path ahead.

But for the GOP typical voter? Once he states his position on immigration, gun control, and taxation....there’s nothing to attract GOP voters to him. He hurts the current theme of identity politics.

Good article. Even though Clinton was liberal, he played the middle correctly. Shultz seems like that kind of politician and could certainly put a dent in their Presidential hopes.

The Democratic Party has gone over the cliff with their liberal/socialist/identity politics ways.

They are trying right now to convince him to change his mind and run as a D. I just hope he does not listen to them and change his mind.

Just wait, stories will come out that he was caught with hookers or said something really nasty when he was in the fourth grade.

This is what his enemies will do. COUNT ON IT.

Schultz isn’t a threat to them. He’s talking more like a Republican than a Democrat.

Schultz? He’s a blend of 1980s style Democratic ideals...

What ideals has he been espousing? So far all I've heard is "Vote for me, the parties are broken and too extreme" without any real ideas on how he would fix it.

I am not getting excited about this. If it looks look he will indeed help Trump he will withdraw and endorse whomever the Rat is in plenty of time. IMHO.

I think he may help get the Dem vote out.Hillary Clinton wasn’t worth the walk to the poles to vote.I don’t know anyone that voted for her and admits It. It is clear the US people are in the dark about issues on purpose. He could end up hurting the GOP also.

Three reasons why Starbucks Shultz is a non viable third party candidate.

1) Normals don’t drink Starbucks. Too expensive and takes forever to be served.

2) Shultz will open all bathrooms in America to all comers so ya won’t be able to find a clean bathroom anywhere.

3) The only constituency worried about the national debt is the Tea Party. Shultz already told the Tea Party that he doesn’t want their business.

“1) Normals don’t drink Starbucks. Too expensive and takes forever to be served.”

Is there any product which relies more on snob appeal and offers less value for the dollar than Starbucks?

I hope he runs.. he’ll split the democrat vote nicely.

He could also deprive Trump of 270 electoral votes, which means Nancy Pelosi's House gets to pick the POTUS.
