Last Friday, on a quiet residential street at 6 in the morning, the neighborhood exploded in light, noise and terror. Seventeen SUVs and two armored vehicles arrived in front of one house. Each vehicle had sirens blaring and lights flashing. The house, which abutted a canal, was soon surrounded by 29 government agents, each wearing military garb, each carrying a handgun and most carrying high-powered automatic rifles.
In the canal were two amphibious watercrafts, out of which more heavily armed government agents came. Circling above all this was a helicopter equipped with long-range precision weaponry and high-powered spotlights.
Four agents approached the front door to the house. Two held a battering ram, and two pointed their rifles at the door. One of the agents shouted and banged on the front door until the terrified owner of the house emerged, barefoot and wearing shorts and a T-shirt. He was greeted in the dark at his open front door by two rifle barrels aimed at his head.

OK, let me start, then: They are going to impeach him, and will try very hard to remove him, for “obstruction of justice” (yes, I know that’s ridiculous).

Because the FBI is becoming the Stasi. It is as simple as that. And the ‘good’ people who are members of the FBI never blinked when they executed the orders that came from above.
Sort of reminds me of other times in history when people tried to hide behind the ‘just following orders’ excuse.

I just don’t like sensational headlines taken out of context. Yes, the FBI raid was an embarrassment. Never should have happened. But to relate it to SEALs and the Bin Laden raid is so stupid. SEALs work in small teams. That’s how it’s supposed to be. The Bin Laden operation consisted of hundreds of soldiers on the ground and hundreds more in support. If you want to focus on the guys who took the actual compound and kicked the doors, yeah, it wasn’t as many guys involved in the FBI operation. But there were a hell of a lot of soldiers pulling security and acting as a QRF for the Bin Laden raid. /rant
One good thing might come out of this:

Trump should end the FBI after that event. Start over with an new branch of the Federal Marshalls, Sheriff’s, or something, but there can no longer be an FBI.
Trump IS responsible. He must END the FBI now.
Exactly. People who make a career in law enforcement - police officers, sherriffs deputies, FBI agents - can be expected to follow orders.
These scenarios are already playing out daily. State and local police SWAT teams are no better. The Central government pushes to totally disarm the people while they swarm citizens homes with machine guns, suppressors, night vision equipment, military explosives and armored vehicles.
They have 35,000+ employees and a budget of 9 billion or so. It was probably too late to do anything about the FBI 50+ years ago. I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath until something changes with the FBI now.
