Seeing as cancer is pretty much hundreds of sometimes very different diseases, I'm not sure a singular complete cure for cancer is possible. If it were, it would probably mean a new technology that could be applied in many other areas of medicine.
That was my first thought too. So I read the article. They attacked the problem is a different way. Can’t say if there’s anything to it, but they are aware of the hundreds of types, and the current approaches, etc.
If they actually discovered a commonality in all cancers implying a common treatment that would easily be worth a Nobel Prize in itself. But I wouldn’t hold my breath.
