Everytime I watch TV I can’t help but wonder which actor, if not all, gave up the booty. Last night I was watching 77 Sunset Strip (snap snap). I wondered about “Cookie” and every young starlette who ever got a line.
What these people don’t understand is there’s only so many openings at the top. They give it up, get a few roles, then are never seen again.
My opinion is Hollywood was (especially in 1960) one big buffet of "girls" and women for a guy in a position of power. And the women slept their way to the top. Noomi Rapace recently said a theater production she was working at in 2000...was one big buffet for the director and she had to avoid him. He got real pissed at her avoiding him.
