These folks are so out of touch with reality it’s really jaw dropping, I get the fact they are trying to create in some sense an alternative narrative, but nobody buys their shit anymore. It’s trivial these days for a reasonable, fair minded person to get some sense of the actual facts and come to his/her own conclusions. We don’t need these clowns to interpret current events. Never did, but it’s glaringly obvious now we’ve been thoroughly scammed for decades.
It begs the question anyway. Who gets to say this guy is a “tribal elder” anyway? Or a Viet Nam combat veteran? He ain’t my tribe. Who cares if he WAS a combat veteran (he wasn’t); that doesn’t give him some special right to act like a douchenozzle now.
Looks to me any objective, fair reading of his actions, he’s just a bum with a drum. F him. He is not representing “Native” Americans to me, I have too much respect for them to believe that for a second. What’s he been doing since 1974? There’s quite the gap in his dossier.
Near as I can tell the ONLY people who have been acting like Adults in this whole fecal festival are the Covington High School kids. Now that’s pretty damn sad. The Church “leaders” threw them under the bus the first chance they got, condemning them, yet helpfully allowing there will be “an investigation”.
