Imo, (which of course will have no bearing on the outcome of border security currently being negotiated), DACA and TPS should be entirely separate as these are not what this crisis is about...it should have never come to being ‘used’ as political leverage as it was a legal way for people to be here regardless of it's limitations and which should never be a stepping stone to citizenship no matter what is used to hyphenate DACA...and TPS.

Obama created DACA through a 2012 ‘executive order’ and was was a ‘temporary’ deal.......Trump has the right to stop the DACA program...and since these were kids brought here ‘illegally’ he can certainly deport them especially those who have committed crimes. They all knew this was a "temporary" state.
