We need to support him, help build an undeniable political force to build that border wall and reform immigration control to where it a actually is real control.

This is what we are fighting for.

IMHO the lying, scumbag, despicable FAKE NEWS and the leftists working for the federal government made it unproductive and near impossible for the president to continue the shutdown.

They have been working hard to convince the public that poor people and children are starving, going without meds and medical care and that the shutdown
is endangering the safety of people - especially those travelling by air.

The air traffic shutdown today made it clear they are succeeding.

What would the leftists’ next step be?
Would they allow people to die so they can blame the president?
Not a doubt at all they would do it if the airline shutdown didn’t work.

We knew that Trump was not a strict conservative when we voted for him.

He is a Patriot, a Wheeler-Dealer an oportunist but a realist as well.
Historically, if one position or plan isn’t working for him he takes his lumps and moves on to Plan-B.

In the “Art Of The Deal” he states that he that he remains flexible.
He doesn’t get too attached to a plan - he changes his strategy as the situation changes, always keeping his objective in sight.

This struggle isn’t over yet, it’s only the end of the first round.

Pelosi may be gloating now but the president threw the gauntlet down today:

“Congress - put action where your mouth is or in 21 days I will act on my own.”

The shutdown might have worked in his favor if he wasn’t fighting the democrats and media almost single-handed.

Even his own party didn’t stand firm behind their own president.
