True or false: the sidelined workers in the shutdown ARE eligible for unemployment benefits
AND
will still get the full pay amounts retroactively when the shutdown ends.
I have now heard each side’s mutually exclusive version.
Also, wouldn’t it be just if the unemployment money we taxpayers are giving them would be deducted from the big total retro pay later? Or they are paid extra pay!
