It’s much more than that problem, the physical barrier is essential. The best electronic surveillance imaginable still cannot physically stop the illegals from crossing the border, and once they are in our country the legal morass and fiscal expense they will cause is outrageous.

We must have The Wall to keep illegals from crossing into our country.

I wouldn’t mind if she upped this to $8-million and split it 50-50 with wall-money and gadget-money....promising to come back in 2020 with the funding to wrap up the end of the wall business, and more border patrol agents.

What about a wide “no-man’s land” that is electronically monitored. If it were a mile wide there would be plenty of time for agents to get to a spot where a crosser entered it before they crossed it and entered America.

Perhaps the no-man’s land could be between two walls.
