There is a systemic and very active HATE for one group here in America, and it is NOT based on skin color. I am speaking of the visceral hatred by a certain portion of the population of the United States by another portion, to the degree they speak openly of eliminating, by very stringent means, any dissent. There is an extreme dislike and intolerance for diversity of opinion, to the degree of coming to blows, and initiating riots and widespread civil disobedience to suppress any discussion or expression of activity contrary to “approved” or “correct” behavior.

One mindset believes in some form of “command and control”, and the effort to impose this “command and control” on the rest of the neighbors and community has been active and determined for generations, perhaps since the rise of civilization. It is a very anti-civility and anti-freedom agenda they propose, many times in terms of making the government of their fellow citizens more “efficient” or more “fair”.

With themselves in the driver’s seat, or course.

Counter to this is a recognition of the individuality of humanity, with the twin incentives of permitting the individual the opportunity of enjoying the fruits of personal effort, and a pact to recognize this desire and impulse on the part of his neighbor. In a bold experiment set forth over two centuries ago, this point of view was set forth in what came to be known as “The Declaration of Independence”, which called upon the natural rights of mankind as granted by their Creator, of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which is code for the right of private ownership of property, accepted and recognized by the community as a whole, and protected by statute, broadly outlined in the words of the Constitution of the United States of America.

This most remarkable of documents sets forth the distilled wisdom of eons of uneasy balance between too little order in our lives, and too much. Anarchy, on one hand, the unfettered liberty to do exactly as one may please, regardless of consequences, is balanced by imposing the application of consequences for reckless behavior by a moral authority to define what is acceptable and what is not. This moral authority is based in the ultimate judgment before a Creator and a simple, short and very inclusive standard encompassed in the Ten Commandments, carried out in the spirit of of what came to be known as the “Golden Rule”, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Now, this latter part is still subject to the interpretations of men, and in an excess of zeal, the madness of command and control will use even the very words of the Ten Commandments, or a similar code of conduct and behavior, as an excuse to inflict punishments here in the worldly sense, without waiting for any kind of divine judgment, setting their will above that of the Creator, yet claiming some kind of authority in their righteous anger and impulses.

This may be done by declaring that “there IS no Creator”, or that said Creator “gives” them the right to make their own code and apply it as harshly as they see fit.

This is just the kind of tyranny and arrogated sense of entitlement that leads to feudalism and strongman rule, the powerful imposing their will on the helpless, regarding these vassals as no more than property or disposable pawns in a cruel game of power engaged with and against other tyrants.

Time and time again, humanity has had to throw off these fetters and restrictions, only to have them reimposed as vigilance slackens, and the tyrants reassert their command and control.

The tyrants are once again trying to impose their command and control, by failing to behave in a civilized and reasonable manner, refusing to negotiate in a fair and equitable manner, making demands they shall not compromise on, and setting rules of engagement so ineffectual that no compromise is possible anyway.

Yes — racism against white males, such as the Covington students.
