I love that movie. Walter Brennen, Bruce Dern, James Garner, all great ones. Jack Elam,the fake Swifty Morgan, was good,too. I guess I missed that line somehow, and I have seen that movie several times.
I had the pleasure of skiing Purgatory about 4 years ago with my youngest son. Would like to go back some time.
Bruce Dern says it, IIRC, after news reaches the sheriff that the father plans to break the son out of jail. Such a loyal son...not. LOL
