There are two types of law. Statute and precedent. Precedent is totally with her. The only thing that is going to come out of this is that her appeal will increase for voters who vote their sympathies instead of voting for competent leadership.
Personally, I prefer to not give her more standing than is her due. It would be good if the Democrats chose the most competent candidate they have, just in case that person wins.
