Kasich is toast. He should have realized what would happen to him when crossed the aisle into the Demagogic Party / media shill side.
Kasich is just a Kucinich spelled differently and a little more polite. But their politics of insanity are nearly the same.
He could have been a contender but he chose to be a renderer.
