Mueller team disputes BuzzFeed report claiming Trump told Cohen to lie

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office on Friday issued a rare statement disputing a bombshell news report claiming President Trump directed Michael Cohen to lie about the timing of discussions over a proposed Trump Tower project in Moscow.

“BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate,” Peter Carr, a spokesman for Mueller’s office, said Friday.

Most important, with the highly biased team Mueller's assembled, if they thought they had something, anything, this powerful they'd at least issue an ambiguous or "no comment" statement. Instead, they've issued a statement that supports PDJT's denials, a statement they can't go back from.

Now the question becomes, "why did Buzzfeed go out on this limb?" My guess is that they know something really bad about RBG's health and came up with this fake news to try to block PDJT from nominating her potential successor. Also look at how SCOTUS is suddenly not going to hear arguments on the citizenship question for the 2020 census that had already been scheduled for February. They'd do that, IMHO, if they wanted a majority to decide the case and believed RBG wouldn't be able to participate in the oral arguments and decision.
