A very liberal niece posted on facebook that the Gilette commercial made her cry. I went to Amazon and priced women’s refills by Gilette (6 @ 20.47) and men’s (8 @ 13.67} Both were the 5 blade style. Now there is something for women to cry about.
If women are willing/dumb enough to pay more money for the exact same thing, how is that a concern of mine, that’s their problem. Doh!!
I bought a straight razor. Not a “gender-questioning” razor. Get it? They look badass, too! F Gillette.
Actually, the women’s razors are engineered differently than the men’s. Women have more places to shave, and some of those areas (like the armpit) have very delicate skin. The reason they cost more is because of the extra R&D costs associated with their design. The same dynamic is true of any women’s product that costs more than the corresponding male product.
