I have an alternative idea. How about we just let the market handle it? Last I checked we have an obesity epidemic in most first and even second world countries. It seems to me the market is doing an awfully good job of providing more food than we even need. Pretty sure we could grow more if we needed to.
If not....well then I guess some poor backward 3rd world countries better start embracing birth control hadn’t they?
Really only Africa is out of control with their birth rate. Even Muslim nations are starting to have their birth rates decreased, look at Iran. A quick Google search shows that their birth rate is now 1.66, which is lower than USA. Right now ours is 1.77.
