Citizens need to learn that the states, not the constitutionally limited power feds, ultimately call the shots in the USA. This is evidenced by the Constitution’s Article V and the 10th Amendment.
In fact, there is nothing stopping the states from repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments, regardless what Congress wants.
