I think to be sure because you can never be too safe with our President, the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, NSA and Five Eyes should immediately investigate every member of Congress, their families and their friends to make sure there is no threat from any of them. A complete and thorough investigation including financial, political, personal using whatever tools necessary up to and including wire taps. This is the only way we can be sure!

Now that my idea has been tossed out and modified, I tend to agree with you. He should give a huge rally, and simultaneously (not in advance) communicate his address in dry paper form to Pelosi and Schumer.
I think Pelosi thought she was upping the pressure by saying that the SOTU couldn’t take place in her COngress because of Trump’s shut down. But, there’s so many other ways to give the address.
Also, the House of Representatives is shut down now by its own hand. Mitch should let it be known that unless Trump’s first order of business... the border... isn’t attended to in a serious manner, that the Senate may stay closed to.
Imagine the wonder of a Congressional Session with no new burdensome laws!

It is required by the U.S. Constitution. Pelosi cannot cancel it as bad as she want to. Furthermore, President Trump can do it in the U.S. Senate.
