And instead of Gillette shaving cream, use Barbasol.

My wife doesn't care for the scent of Barbasol. My brand was Colgate, until it was discontinued after 100 years or so. I guess I was the last guy buying it. I was using Gillette Foamy Barber Shop scent, then regular after they discontinued that! Noxzema used to make a good shaving cream until it was sold off and is now a poorly performing economy brand. On top of that, 90% of the garbage on the shelves now are gels, not a foamy cream.

I must be the only dinosaur left who not only uses Barbasol but remembers the ad in Field & Stream (”says Singin’ Sal, the Barbasol gal”) the Noxcema ad with the Swedish model “take it off, take it all off”, etc.

Tried a shave gel because we were flying to a cruise. Yecchh!!

Gillette has really jumped the shark this time.
