Why would you take notes from a translator at one encounter and urge that person not to reveal what transpired — even to your senior aides? Here we go. Fact is, Trump has not concealed anything. And secondly, he has the right to conceal whatever the heck he wishes to conceal.
Let me guess - you want the private conversations to remain private? Sounds like they are talking about stuff they don’t want the rest of the world to know.
Color me naive, but I thought a lot of government stuff tries to be private/secure. When everybody’s a leaker, how does one go about doing that?
The interpreters job is to translate, not take minutes or give reports to anyone who asks.
