Sunday on CNNs State of the Union, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) predicted President Donald Trump would go down as the worst negotiator in history.
While discussing the government shutdown, Warner said, I think history will show that Donald Trump, the supposed great dealmaker, and Im working on a piece on this, that business schools and management consultants will look back for years and say this was the most in inept negotiation. He boxed himself in a corner. He didnt empower his negotiators like the vice president or Lindsey Graham or Mitch McConnell. Hes not allowed any win-win circumstance....

Yet we’re selling rice to China.
Win-Win? Get the 5.1 billion and reopen the government. That’s called Win-Win.
worst negotiator in history? Ah nothing like a cup of hyperbole to start the morning.
That’s why Trump is so poor and on welfare, right?
Pres Trump went to the border and talked with Border Patrol agents. U S Sen Warner is lying.
Think through anything! What is there to think through... making a deal is getting the other side to know you mean business and all of their tricks won’t work... you need to be thought of as “you can’t deal with him.. he won’t give in”.
These brainy educated professional persons who think they have a handle on anything... and can give advice...
BTW.. the liberal left are the ones who don’t think about the end results of their decisions. NY giving free health care to illegals... who wants to become a dr in NY .. the years and the expense.. to give free to illegals. Free means government control.
Actually the fool John Warner was not his father; but he was not really a Republican even though he defeated the phony Mark Warner in his last race for the Senate. John Warner voted against Judge Bork for SCOTUS, pushed a third party candidate against Ollie North for the Senate, and he also made commercials four years ago endorsing Mark Warner against Ed Gillespie, his Republican opponent whom he very narrowly defeated for reelection, a margin probably attributable to Mr. Dementia “reaching across the aisle”. I attribute part of it to senility, part of it to innate stupidity, part of it to bootlicking the press so they will give him good play for a Republican. I remember the Nixon tapes when a staffer challenged the pending nomination of someone for Secretary of the Navy; Nixon is heard responding, “Oh any stupid a^^^^le can do it, we even had John Warner in that job”. Nixon may have been crude, but he was right.
Sen, Warner’s efforts have resulted in more national debt than any Senator in Virginia history. Illegal immigrants add to this debt. I wonder if he tells his children and grandchildren or anyone in Virginia that they will have to pay down this debt and the carrying costs for this debt for the rest of their lives?
If Mitch McConnell were “your negotiator” would you “empower him”? Me neither.
Been in touch with Fusion GPS lately Senator?
He gets drunk and says things like: If You Get Me One More Glass Of Wine, Ill Tell You Stuff Only Bob Mueller And I Know. And he texts messages to a Russian oligarch to get meetings with Christopher Steele.
Is this the same guy that married Liz Taylor without thinking it through? Or am I mistaken.
Pretty definite confirmation that Trump is on the right track—and what swamp creatures he shouldn’t be delegating as negotiators for him.
“Is this the same guy that married Liz Taylor without thinking it through? Or am I mistaken.”
I’m mistaken. I posted without thinking it through. LOL.
Partner, you hit the nail on the head as you always do.
Yep, the DemonRats use the Republicans and whip them like a rented mule.
This is all going to end very badly.
Mark Warner, another moron in the Senate. He was an intern for a ‘great’ senator Abe Ripusoff (er, sorry I meant Abe Ribicoff) and Chris Dudd (darn, I did it again, I meant Chris Dodd). Warner thinks that Trump is a terrible negotiator because if another politician was president, he would have folded before the shut down.
Hahaha!
That will teach me to read without my glasses on.
Oh boy :D
Trump wins you lose. Sounds good to me.
