Not so hard to do, but the lying GOP-e, the Democrats’ ideological brethren, are chiefly worried about how to play this (the fact that they lied about doing it but then turned around and refused to do it) to the voting base they lied to.

...House Democrats promptly put themselves in the position of being seen taking the side of foreigners entering the country illegally over the security and economic prosperity of American citizens. Democrats are losing this one - and the longer the government is shut down - the more they lose. Relax and enjoy the game.
