The fourteen(?) or so Republicans who declared early for the 2016 election are going to seem, in comparison to The Democratic Clown Car(TM), civil and polite.
The fortunate outcomes for conservatives of such a crowded Democratic field are: they will be forced to spend much money in their primaries, they will cause each other much damage that can be exploited during the actual race, they will seem strident and argumentative, several may be permanently damaged for other races. Best of all, they may polarize their own electorate and cause those people to abandon the eventual winner.
Potential unfortunate outcomes are: a real leader may immerge, desperate mega-donors may come together in the end with sufficient money to make up for the popularity loss caused by a contentious primary, there may immerge a photogenic sociopath who makes socialism and lack of border security seem attractive by reframing the subject. (The Left is so often fooled by a pretty face and twisted language and logic.)
Whom do you think will emerge?
Photogenic would be a break with recent dim tradition. Let us review.
Hillary.......Nuff said
0.......average at best with jug ears
Kerry........average.horseface
Gore.......slightly below average
The Toon......slightly above average
Dukakis......below average
Mondale......ditto
Carter.......average with a toothy smile while lying to you
To be fair the pubs are no better in the looks department and sometimes worse. Romney might have been the best on our side going by looks alone. As one wit said years ago politics is showbiz for ugly people.
Id say the desperate mega-donors and the photogenic sociopath are virtual guarantees. Since no serious attempt will be made to combat state-level vote fraud, I guess we have to hope enough non-voting Americans get mad enough to go to the polls and teach the Democrats a hard lesson about taking them for granted.
