President Trump on Thursday said Sen. Cryin Chuck Schumer lied when he claimed the president slammed his hand on the table and stormed out of a White House meeting trying to break the stalemate over the border wall.
Cryin Chuck told his favorite lie when he used his standard sound bite that I slammed the table & walked out of the room. He had a temper tantrum,' Trump posted on his Twitter page. Because I knew he would say that, and after Nancy said no to proper Border Security, I politely said bye-bye and left, no slamming!
Schumer, the Senate minority leader, and other Democratic congressional leaders emerged from the meeting on Wednesday to say it quickly ended when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wouldnt agree to his demands for a wall on the southern border.
At that point, Schumer said Trump slammed his hand on the table and left the meeting.
Unfortunately, the president just got up and walked out, Schumer told reporters outside the White House. He asked Speaker Pelosi, Will you agree to my wall? She said no. And he just got up and said, Then we have nothing to discuss, and he just walked out. Again, we saw a temper tantrum because he couldnt get his way, and he just walked out of the meeting.
Moments later, Republicans who attended the meeting, including Vice President Pence, provided a different version of what happened.

Trump needs to record those meetings - whether he tells the other participants or not. Being able to show the world that others are lying like dogs is a powerful way to defeat them and to garner support for yourself and your policies.
Trump got elected because he is not a (lying) politician. He should reinforce that fact at every available opportunity - and this was one of those.
They — and the MSM — also told numerous whoppers during the Kavanaugh hearings.
Where is Comey these days? Seems to be keeping himself scarce.
Same with Clapper.
Down Under we have a word that describes him perfectly: smarmy.

We use that same word here on the East Coast of the USA :-)
So why is slamming the table and walking out being made such a big deal, as if this is a sign of Trumps immaturity (according to Schumer)? Who cares whether Trump slammed the table or not?
Slamming the table and walking out is a standard ploy used by labor leaders (among others) all the time. Their members expect it of them. If you dont do it, youre a wuss.
I remember when a famous conductor infuriated the members of his orchestra because he didnt slam the table over prospective reductions to the orchestras budget. The orchestra members demanded the conductors resignation.
Thanks for that Meme - I called the number from my NYC phone # and the line was busy...I’ll be sure to call until I get through.
