Woman with concealed carry permit fatally shoots armed robber, police say

A woman with a concealed carry permit shot and killed a teen who tried to rob her at gunpoint Tuesday morning on the Far South Side, according to Chicago police.
The 25-year-old woman was standing on a corner when the teen approached around 5:40 a.m. . . .
When the teen pulled out a gun, the woman grabbed her own and fired one shot, hitting the teen in the neck, police said. The teen ran off but was found a block away and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.

ImVho, EVERY armed criminal, who attacks any innocent person OR attempts to commit a FELONY or ASSAULT against such innocent person SHOULD BE SHOT & WITHOUT MERCY or HESITATION.
Fwiw, I carry a handgun concealed 24/365 to protect my loved ones & myself from criminals.

In my state of CA, she’d be in the crossbar hotel awaiting her bail hearing. I'd be surprised (but pleased) if she is not run through a legal wringer in Chicago over this.
