The Senate votes on Justices. Unless House Democrats want to shut.. the Government … down... oops
I know they do, but I believe impeachment hearings in the House could prevent the President from even nominating a judge to the Supreme Court during impeachment or scheduled hearings. The Senate only confirms a SC nomination.
