18 month old Richie needs your prayers

Prayer Warriors have seen this but we need everyone to offer prayers for Richie.

Picture a few months old but the only one I have available.

First a little history .... The last week of November, Richie received several vaccines which included the flu vaccine.

On December 2nd, he was hospitalized with paralysis of his arms and legs. He was put on a respirator and the outlook was bleak. I posted a note on FB asking for prayers from family and friends.

Richie is the grandson of a cousin who is more like a little brother than a cousin.

We hold on to our faith and hope that God will restore Richie’s health.

Since he has been paralyzed and hospitalized since Dec 2nd, your prayers have helped us realize that God is listening.

A small step forward and a ray of light. Richie is stable again but not back to where he was.

Daddy Brian was able to hold him again yesterday.
Richie calmed down after looking at Daddy and then went to sleep in Brian's arms.

The Respiratory Therapist cried while watching the interaction.
Well, Grandpa and I cried when he told me about it.
That poor little guy probably wonders what is going on.

Dear Heavenly Father....we pray that you will continue to keep, protect and heal sweet Richie.

Please make Richie comfortable as his little body fights and heals.

We pray for you to offer strength to his dear family, and to sweet Richie as he fights this battle. We offer his battle up to You, oh Lord.

We pray for Your wisdom and compassion over his doctors and caregivers.

We thank you and praise you for the blessings and mercies You have given them and for continued blessings and mercies, over them.

I sometimes feel doctors think the family may be getting too optimistic so they want to remind them not to get their hopes up.

Healing prayers continue, unceasing.
Thank you, Just Amy, for his continued updates. This little guy is remembered throughout the day, and has our prayers just as often.
FATHER, thank You for Your miracles. Please allow one to be seen by this child and his family. Breathe into him Your Breath that he might become the child his family remembers, growing up healthy and strong.
As You have written, so it shall be.
